EDITING/ WRITING/ PUBLICATIONS
Upcoming! Publications & Editorial Internship @ The Metropolitan Museum of Art this Fall.

My main experince in editing & publications has been at The Journal of Art Criticism (JAC), where I began as an editor in 2022. As editor-in-chief at JAC (2024-2025) I...
  • de-anonymized the editing process, encouraging a closer/more collaborative writer/editor relationship
  • increased our output of material, including inter-issue essays published on Substack as a place for more creative/non-tradition forms of writing
  • saw the print journal from call for submissions to print including curating essays and artworks, editing, copyediting, liaising with printers
  • headed a team of 19 people including many different roles from sales to events to designers
  • organized celebrations for our 10-year anniversary, including a ‘birthday party’ hosted at the Brooklyn Public Library’s Library for Arts and Culture that brought together editors, writers, students, faculty, and arts professionals
  • applied for and was assigned an ISSN for the journal
  • increased our institutional outreach, including a new subscription by Amherst College library & the Five Colleges Catalog
  • did all of this while keeping to deadlines and maintaining a sense of community in the editorial board

I have also worked as an editor & copyeditor for website/print content for a variety of different places including: The Farnese Collection of Drawings, Nicholas Hall Gallery, the Factum Foundation, Ethan Cohen Gallery.

    ‘NON-ACADEMIC’ PUBLICATIONS
COPY Magazine: “Girlfriend Zap!” book review of Sophie Kemp’s Paradise Logic
